Poczatki: Moja przygoda z kotami brytyjskimi rozpoczęła się kilka lat temu, niespodziewanie nawet dla mnie samej, ponieważ w mojej rodzinie, od kilku pokoleń, zawsze byly psy. Wiedzialam więc o nich wszystko. No, prawie wszystko. Często jednak marzylam o spokoju jakie dać może kot, tęskniłam za jego mruczeniem...i.wiedzialam, że jeśli będę miała kota, to tylko brytyjskiego. A najlepiej dwa...
I tak właśnie nadszedł odpowiedni czas, że zamieszkały ze mną dwie kotki brytyjskie rodem z Polski: Christina Blue Muezzi * PL i Babette Lilac Muezzi *PL. Ale ciągle jeszcze marzyłam o posiadaniu kota brytyjskiego colourpointa. Po roku marzenie moje zrealizowalam i w domu pojawil sie kocurek o imieniu Ocean`s Eleven of Czankra*PL.
Wtedy właśnie zaczęła we mnie świtać myśl, żeby jednak nie kastrować tych kotow, żeby spróbować swoich sił w hodowli tych pięknych zwierząt, co wypełniłoby mi wolny czas, którego miałam w nadmiarze. Myśl ta nie dawała mi spokoju... Po dłuższym zastanowieniu się nad tym, po dokonaniu wielu rozeznań w tym zakresie a przede wszystkim po zwiedzaniu wielu wystaw kocich i rozmowach z wieloma hodowcami, postanowilam: rozpoczynam hodowanie kotów. I tak to się zaczęło...

Chrakterystyka kotów brytyjskich ( moje doświadczenie brytka): Koty brytyjskie to koty o wspaniałych cechach charakteru.
Ciche, naziemne, łagodne, bardzo lubią się bawić, pobiegać a nawet poszaleć ale wszystko to odbywa się w bardzo spokojny i rozważny sposób. Są to koty mało absorbujące a to co dla mnie najważniejsze to to, że są kotami tolerancyjnymi dla swego pana. Ich misiowatość sprawia, że są idealnymi kotami dla każdego a pluszowe futerko brytyjczyka wręcz zachęca do glaskania. Emanuje z tych kotów dostojność i powaga.
Gdy patrzę w ich duże, bursztynowe, błyszczące oczy jestem zafascynowana ich pięknem.

Kilka słów o mnie i mojej Kociej Rodzinie:

	Hodowla TEUTTA jest zarejestrowana w FIFE. Mieszkam wraz z mężem i z moimi kotami w stolicy Austrii: Wiedniu. Mąż oczywiście zaakceptował "powiększenie rodziny" co bylo dla mnie priorytetową sprawą. Moim kotom poświęcam bardzo dużo czasu. Koty są pełnoprawnymi członkami rodziny. Wszystkie drzwi w.mieszkaniu stoją dla nich otworem, poniewaz mam to szczęście, że kocur nie znaczy terenu. Tworzymy jedną szczęśliwą rodzinę, a raczej stado... Mam nadzieję, że moim "dzieciom" jest z nami dobrze, tak jak nam z nimi... Koty są pod stałą kontrolą weterynaryjną. Hodowla jest przetestowana pod katem FeLV i FIV - z wynikiem negatywnym. Obecność kotów zmieniła wiele w moim zyciu na lepsze. Rozhukany świat przestał mi przeszkadzać a w domu moim zapanowal spokój i miłość przy akompaniamenice mruczenia... Chciałabym, żeby kociaki wychodzące z mojej hodowli były pięknymi przedstawiecielami tej rasy, a przede wszystkim, aby wniosły w życie nowych włascicieli tyle radości i szczęścia ile ja otrzymuję od moich kotów każdego dnia Krystyna
DE - Herzlich Willkommen auf der Website von "Teutta" Cattery... Bedeutung des Namens "Teutta"? - Teutta war eine legendäre Königin aus dem Balkan und wurde auch oft mit Kleopatra verglichen. Teutta wurde auch "Piraten Königin" genannt und Sie regierte die Stadt Illyrien 231 Jahre n.Ch. Ihre Flotte besiegte griechische Inseln und Ihre Faszination hat mich dazu bewegt, meine Cattery nach Ihrem Namen zu benennen. In dieser Form habe ich Teutta zur Patronin meiner Cattery gewählt und Sie soll mich in schweren Tagen begleiten und mir Mut geben um diverse Schicksalsschläge gut zu überwinden. Wie alles begann: In meiner Familie gibt es seit vielen Generationen Hunde, doch als ich vor einigen Jahren die Katzenrasse "Britisch Kurzhaar" sah, ließ Sie mich nicht mehr los. Ich träumte immer von dieser Katzenrasse, Ihre Ruhe welche Sie ausstrahlten und Ihr Schnurren, wenn Sie glücklich und zufrieden waren. Ich habe sehr viel Zeit damit verbracht, div. Züchter zu kontaktieren und habe nach langem suchen meine "Traumkatzen" gefunden, und mir somit meinem Traum erfüllt. Nun sind zwei Britisch Kurzhaarmädchen (nähere Infos unter Kätzinnen) bei mir eingezogen, doch dann begann ich in weiterer Folge von einem Kater zu träumen. Nach einem Jahr ist auch dieser Traum wahr geworden und ein Britisch Kurzhaarkater (nähere Infos unter Kater) vervollständigte meine Katzenfamilie. In weiterer Folge beschäftigte mich der Gedanken, mit diesen wunderschönen Tieren doch eine kleine Hobbyzucht aufzubauen. Nach langen Uberlegungen, vielen Gesprächen mit erfahrenen Züchtern, vielen Besuchen bei diversen Katzenausstellungen habe ich die Entscheidung getroffen: Ich werde Katzen züchten...ich werde meine ganze Kraft und Energie in diese Zucht einbringen und unter der Patronaz von "Teutta" hoffe ich, daß es mir gelingen wird. Wesen/Charakter der BKH (meine Erfahrungen mit meinen Katzen): Sie besitzen einen herrlichen Charakter, strahlen Würde, aber auch einen gewissen Ernst aus. Sie sind nicht arrogant und (für mich sehr wichtig) Sie sind sehr tolerant gegenüber Ihres Besitzers. Sanftheit, aber auch verrrücktes Spielen und Tollen - dies aber immer mit einer gewissen Besonnenheit - sowie Ihr plüschiges Teddybärenfell (welches Ihre Besitzer gerne zum Streicheln annimiert) zeichnet diese Katzenrasse aus. Ihre großen, bernsteinfarbenen Augen tragen zu einer besonderen Faszination dieser schönen Wesen sehr bei. Über mich - meine Familie - meine Katzen: Mein Ehemann und ich leben in Österreichs Hauptstadt: Wien Mein Gatte akzeptiert und liebt unsere Katzen ebenfalls, unsere Katzen sind Familienmitglieder, es gibt keine verschlossenen Türen, und noch dazu habe ich das große Glück, daß mein Kater nicht markiert. EN - Welcome to "Teutta" cattery... Origin of the cattery's name: The cattery is named after the legendary Balkan Queen Teuta, often compared to Cleopatra. Beautiful, wise and brave Teuta ruled the kingdom of Illyria from 231 AD. She was also called the Queen of Pirates as her fleet conquered Greek islands. She is a fascinating figure and that is why my cattery is called Teutta. In this way she has become its patron and its uncrowned queen. I hope that in hardships I may face in the future in connection with this cattery Teuta will support me and give me strength to fight these difficulties. Beginnings: My experience with British cats started a few years ago, quite unexpectedly even for myself, since for generations there have always been dogs in my family. So I know all about them. Well, almost all. However, I often dreamt about the serenity a cat can offer, I missed its purring... and I knew that if I have a cat, it must be a British one. Or better two of them...At last the time came and two British female cats from Poland: Christina Blue Muezzi*PL and Babette Lilac Muezzi*PL came to live with me. And yet I was still dreaming about having a British colourpoint male. After a year this dream came true and a kitten called Ocean`s Eleven of Czankra*PL appeared. It was then that I had an idea of not castrating these cats, but rather having a try at breeding these beautiful animals, which would also help me fill in the excess time. This thought couldn't give me a rest...So after considering pros and cons, and doing the appropriate research, and first and foremost after visiting lots of cat exhibitions and talking to lots of breeders I made up my mind to start my own cattery. And this is how it has all begun... Characteristics of British cats (my own experience of a Brit): British cats - these are cats with wonderful personality traits. Quiet, ground and gentle they like playing, running, or even horsing around, yet they are calm and careful at the same time. These cats are not absorbing, and what is important for me, they are really tolerant when it comes to their owner. Being 'bear-like' they are ideal for every person, and their fluffy fur just encourages stroking. Grandeur and dignity emanate from them. When I look into their big amber-coloured sparkling eyes I am fascinated by their beauty. A few words about myself and my Feline Family: TEUTTA Cattery is registered with FIFE. I live with my husband and my cats, of course, in the capital of Austria: Vienna.Obviously my husband accepted the fact that our family was going to grow larger, which was a top priority to me. I devote a lot of my time to my cats. They are real family members with full rights. All the doors are wide-open as luckily the male doesn't mark his territory. We are a happy family, or rather a herd... I hope that my children are as happy with us as we are with them.. Cats are under constant vet's supervision. The cattery has undergone FeLV and FIV testing - with negative results. These cats have changed my life for better. The hustle and bustle of the modern world has stopped disturbing me, and my home has become calmer and full of love and purring...
